Analysis
The analytical determinations have been performed using mainly capillary electrophoresis, since it is a high-efficient, fast and cost-effective new separation method, which requires only a minute amount of sample for the analysis. The capillary electrophoresis has numerous advantages over the other (classical) separation techniques like HPLC, GC concerning the accessible maximum plate number, resolution, analysis time, cost of operation, consumption of reagents and chemicals, possibilities to automate. The capillary electrophoresis was proved to be useful for solving the different analytical problems of the different areas of life (pharmaceutical and food industry, clinical and diagnostical investigations, monitoring and protection of environment). Nowadays, the capillary electrophoresis seems to be the most universal technique, because it is applicable for the analysis of components like the smallest inorganic anions or the larger organic compounds, but also the nucleic acids with huge molecular mass.
Our activities:
- validated analysis of inorganic anions, organic acids, pharmaceutical compounds and their pollutants or metabolits, toxins, food ingredients, etc.,
- developing new electrophoretic methods for any kind of component and their validation,
- determination of components, for which no accredited procedure is known so far, or the determination with other analytical methods is complicate or not economical,
- analysis of few numbers of samples (1-5), which is generally not economical with conventional analytical methods.
Special studies:
- determination of physical chemical parameters of pharmaceuticals (eg.: pK, logP, Ip, binding constants, pharmaco kinetics),
- chiral separations, enantiomer purity studies,
- determination of any inorganic anions or small organic anions,
- analysis from complicate, difficult matrices (viscouse liquids, biological tissues, biofluids, highly acidic or basic solutions),
- speciation analysis
